It seems that almost every parent desires to put their children in the way of beautiful, good and enriching ideas. However, the time in which we live works to confound us with a constant barage of distractions. The parent who desires his or her child to have a rich relationship with books and the ideas they contain faces the daunting task of finding the wheat amidst so much cultural chaff.
To help parents with this burden, while at the same time generating some funds for RiverTree's operations, we have set up an online store with Amazon.com. In it you will find a list of recomended books, toys and other items for you and your children to enjoy.
Our list is developed with the purpose of providing rich and engaging food for the mind. Some of the recomendations are based on our own reading, others are drawn from the lists of souces we trust, and yet other are books that just seem to us to have a high liklihood of quality. In any case, not all families have the same sensibilities when it comes to literature, so use your own best judgement when selecting books from our lists. If there is something you would like to see added, let us know.
